Issues with unifi AP
Hello I hope this is the right place! I have been working on this issue all day with little to no resolve.
I have 1 unifi AP. On our windows server, we have the unifi controller. The AP is adopted and we have 1 network (VLAN 10) and 1 SSID (which is pointing to the VLAN 10 network). I have DHCP snooping and guarding unchecked. The 1 AP is getting an IP address from 10.0.0.99 which is our dhcp server on VLAN 10.
On the other side I have the AP connected to a Cisco switch. The port is configured as a trunk. Picture attached showing the settings. VLAN 10 also lists 10.0.0.99 as the helper ip for that VLAN. All of the clients connected via hardwire to the switch get an ip from 10.0.0.99 on VLAN 10.
When a client connects to the AP, it gets a generic 169 address. When I run wireshark I can see the dhcp discovery, but no signs of an offer or anything. Also to note.. when I manually set an ip address on the device I am not able to ping anything on VLAN 10 either.
Please help me solve this dilemma 😅
